Můžete se přepnout na českou verzi tohoto dokumentu.

Our school prepares people for wide spectrum of jobs in the area of production and transfer of information i.e.ingeneers for telecommunications and TV, radio and film production and broadcasting. The history of school has started in the year 1952. We have changed little bit our name and study programes during the years. The name Stredni prumyslova skola sdelovaci techniky (SPSST) we have from the year 1982, when we joined with Film Technology Highschool of Cimelice (small town in Bohemia).

Now we have three specializations in our school

We are accenting computer hardware and software education in all three specializations. We are teaching the basics of programing but also using of the classical software for MS-DOS and Windows. Also we have courses of microprocesor technology and programming (intel procesors).

Our students of DTT and BT specializations can take the long term practical ending examination in place of the normal practical examination which is usual in Czech republic. As the only school in our country we have an exception from the school law for this type of exames.

Our school is placed in the two buildings in the historical center of Prague. You can take a look to the small plan.
The main building with laboratories, workshops, TV and recording facilities and other specialized classrooms is in Panska street (about 400 m from Wenceslas Square). There is also good equiped physical training room.

The second building is on the Old Town in the neighbourhood of the beautiful barocque church of st. Jacob.
